Javascript windows - IE unable to link

This error happening frequently, but primarily at www.pogo.com when I try to open one of the game room and I'm not a member so I get pop up window with ads before room will open. I thinks this is javascript, because applets had to be installed when I opened page via AOL browser. (I know these will work because I have used them on other computers). I have disabled my virus scan, personal firewall, and unistalled every spyware protection device I had just to try to get this to run. I downloaded IE6 service pack 1 and some other IE6 updates. And, after I had installed a couple of security updates for IE6, I saw one on javascript that seemed to be on target and tried to install it. It tells me IE6 SP1 must be installed and when I check my version of IE6 it shows SP1 as installed. I am sure this is the fix I need, but how do I get it to install? I even tried uninstalliing IE6 completely, but am unable to do so. Can not find an uninstall function on my computer to let me do this.

First, don't even try to uninstall IE6.

Second, make sure active scripting in enabled, those
links are using javascript. If you go to Tools on the
IE menu, then Internet Options, then to the Security
tab, Internet Zone should either be on the default level
(Medium), or if it's on Custom, click Custom Level and make
sure Active Scripting is enabled.
