javascript had it now i don't

I Hope i'm asking in the right place ???
when I try to erace 40 emails at once by clicking the mark all nothing happens
when i check it out it says i disabled javascript I don't remember doing
that any help will be thanked your friend linda

javascript is enabled at IE, tools, options security tab, highlight Internet
zone icon, custom level button, dot the scripting items (scroll down near
the bottom)
