when I try to install java saying that the installer could not open it and
that I need to check to make sure it was downloaded form a good site. I have
tried java.com both the automatic and manual download. but it still will not
install..please HELP..Thanks

Thanks for the info Timothy but I have tried all of those. But I noticed that
I do not have a JAVA icon in my control panel. If you or someone could tell
me how to correct this I would appreciate it very much. My knowledge of
computers is very limited so if anyone can help please do. Thanks
