Everytime my computer boots up I get an error message in a window with the
heading 'Java Virtual Machine Launcher'. It says 'Cannot find the main
class. Program will exit'. I have no other option but to press ok. Can
anyone explain why this is happening, and how I can fix it, because I think
it may be responsible for problems with programs and websites that I use.

Waiting eagerly for a reply,

Jo

Hi Jo: Do you have a new computer?
(legalities)so new computers often come without it, you
can down load sun java's virtual machine here.

Probably you had some malware that has been removed, but has left the
line that runs it still there - there seems to be one such thing
written in Java, and this line to load it via WJview remains. Start -
Run MSConfig.exe, look in the Startup page for the line concerned and
uncheck it
