Java Virtual Machine Launcher

Gena

When my Win XP. system starts up, I get a dialogue box
that reads: "Java Virtual Machine Launcher. Cannot find
main class. Program will exit." I have tried system
restore as far back at it will allow, but that did not
correct problem. I have no idea what the problem is or
what caused it. I do not know what Java Virtual Machine
Launcher is, what the main class is, or what difference
it makes to me. All the programs I regularly use work
fine after clicking "ok" on this dialogue box
..

Get the ms java virtual machine here:

If you really did all the troubleshooting you said you did, then you
would have found the program that is calling the Java Virtual Machine
and not finding it. Try again by doing a clean boot. Here is a link
with instructions:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=310353 - How to Perform a
Clean Boot in Windows XP

Then disable the program that is calling for the Java Virtual Machine
and you won't get the error message any more.
