Java upgrade error...

I have an XP Pro machine that I'm trying to download the latest java
updates.
When I try to run from their site, I get an error "Error 1327 Invalid drive
F:\"
I found an old thread in a java forum that suggested a manual download,
which I did & I am still getting the same message.
Any suggestions?

Installation)
and your download will begin.

I suggest you go to Microsoft Update and make sure you have all the updates
for Windows (http://update.microsoft.com) as a lot of these are vital to a
proper working OS.
