I have a problem regarding Jaca script. On some sites I can't open java
script links. I.e www.finn.no has some menus and "change picture" links that
doesn't work. The information task bar says "javascript: submitform('juster)"
and "javascript:changeimage(http://.....). I have windows XP with IE 6.0 and
SP2. I also have Norton Internet Security 2004. I have tried installing Sun
JAva, and also MSJVM again, nothing works.

Have you tried either lowering the security of your pop-up blocker or
placing an exception for the website?

To change the settings for your pop-up blocker, use the following steps:

-Click on Tools
-Go to Pop-up Blocker
-Select Pop-up Blocker settings
-Place the address in the "Address of Web site to allow" field and click on
Add.
-Click Close

Lemme know how you go?

Forgot to mention that NIS 2004 will also have an ad-blocker in it, you may
need to tweak it's settings.

I tried disabling both the popup blocker in IE6 and NIS2004, but it didn't
help. But now at least I get an error message when I push the javascript
link. The error message details says: Line 683, char 5, error: object
expected, code 0, URL:
http:www.finn.no/finn/car/carselection?pdc=1100201257343

It's quite strange, because this is a well used page for people here in
norway, and the javascript link type is used all over the site. There has
never been a problem anytime before on this page, and it works perfectly well

works perfectly well on the PC at work.

1. You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools |
Internet Options and click Delete Files.

2a. Start>Run>Regsvr32 vbscript.dll

2b. Start>Run>Regsvr32 jscript.dll

(WinXP users who have problems with 2a and 2b, see

3. Re-register all DLLs listed in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

5a. IE Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Browsing>Enable third-party browser
extensions (uncheck & reboot).

5b. Find the hijacker that caused 5a to be checked (or if none were checked,
check for hijackware anyway):
