there is a chat room I cannot get into. It indicates I
need to make sure my Java script is enabled. How do I do
that?

Do this in Internet Explorer

1. Choose "Tools" and then "Internet Options".
2. Click "Security" and then choose "Custom Level".
3. Under the "Scripting" section, set "Active Scripting" to be enabled.
4. Click "OK".
