Java script knackered

Hi

I've tried asking this elsewhere but without sucess.

For an unknown reason, XP/IE version 5.5 have lost the ability to click on
any Java script link.

Don't know why this has happened but it's making things difficult as many
sites use some javascript links, pop ups.

Any ideas what to do as Java script for me is one of those things that run
in the background and I don't have to worry about.

You need to install the SUN version of Java
for your virtual machine to function properly.

Get a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) here:
http://java.sun.com/getjava

Please confirm 'IE 5.5' and if so how you got to it. XP comes with IE 6
and you should not be able to install 5.5 - and if you force the matter
will get trouble
