Hi,

Just got a new computer. I have a problem that I had been using on my 3
year old dell without problems. I went to view a tour and I get a message
that I need a Java enabled browser to view. I have been through
preferences, compared to my old settings, but cannot find anything about
this. I have IE6 service pack1

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance
Irene

Hi Irene,

Look in Control Panel>Internet Options> Advanced tab>Microsoft VM. See if
JIT compiler for virtual machine is checked. If not, enable it by placing a
tick in the checkbox> Apply> OK out.

Then Test for Java here:
http://www.javatester.org/
http://www.pocoso.de/pocoso052.html
http://coglab.wadsworth.com/support/browsercheck.html
http://www.dancespots.net/browsertest.htm

Still not working? See here:
Install Java (either MSVM - no longer supported) or Sun Java:
http://java-virtual-machine.net/download.html

Available from this link are both Java "engines". You may install either
one; they will not conflict with each other, and may occupy the same PC
without difficulties.

Hello LuckyStrike,

Thank you. I am now java enabled - I did have to download from Sun.

I apologize for being so tardy in my return reply to you.

You're most welcome Irene, and I'm glad it helped. Happy Surfin' and working
to you. ;-)
