java doesn't work in netscape

I go to a site and click on letters to expand alphbetical lists ( example)
but nothing happens, yet it works in ie6
 
Launch Netscape and then install Java.

Are you talking about Java or about JavaScript? They are two different
things.
 
To tell you the truth I'm not sure, how do I tell and can we fix whichever
one is different from the first fix?

It would help if you included more information. What version of Netscape?
What is the URL of the web site? What version of Java?

Assuming you use Netscape 7.x, you might want to check out
