java console in my task bar

why is this in my task bar and how do i get rid od it
without causing any problems it poped up in my task bar
for no reason
 
It popped up because you told it to.

Check IE > Properties > Advanced and turn it off.
 
Right click Start - Properties and set it to Always Hide but exiting the
item on the task bar should kill it. If you Java webstart from Sun
Microsystems installed click it and go to File - Preferences - Shortcuts and
click "Ask before integrating into desktop"
