java-aware browser

When I attempt to download from a site I get a error
message saying you need a java-aware browser to view the
webtools.
Is it asking for a specific version of java to be
installed?

Thanks

I'd imagine the error is referring to Java and other scripting options in...

IE Tools>Internet Options>Security>[zone in which you're
downloading]>Custom Level>...

Be careful. Might you consider posting the download and site so that we
might take a look at it?

PS: If you're running WinXP SP2, say so. It matters.
