Java applets "quit" running

For some reason, Java applets will no longer run on my
Internet Explorer. They will work with Netscape. I've re-
installed the latest service pack and the latest Java run
time module. No luck

Any ideas out there?

Thanks much for your reply. I managed to "fix" the issue
by re-installing Windows!! LOL, not intentionally, I was
led down the primrose path by Gateway support. It's a
long story. I'll keep this in case the issue jumps up
again on me.
