i have a problem with the java applets. i cannot open my bank account

"download signed activex...." and it's on prompt and "run activex

suppose to download from the site!!! it goes to a black white screen
and the red X error box on top left? i also downloaded the new java 2
from sun cop aswell but no help?

and i also tried downloading Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 and in
th setup i got the "The software did not pass the windows logo testing"

how can i get my java applets to work??

Try these links and see what happens. Not sure the problem is still Java but
worth a try I guess. Signed activex is okay but I suggest you do NOT enable
scripting or download of UNsigned or NOT marked as safe (see the settings,
it's pretty obvious) because they can be problematic and I have never seen
any legitimate function that needs them. (Maybe I have a sheltered life).

Had the same problem with my computer. I'm using Windows
XP and Internet Explorer 6. Problem seemed to center
around the original installations of windows xp. Seemed
to be missing the java part of it. The bad news is I had
to have the hard drive reformatted and have a non-corrupt
version of XP installed. Good luck.
