Java 2 Runtime

Hi - I realize I'm probably at the wrong group but I have
a question concerning uninstalling Java 2 Runtime and I
think it associates itselt with IE. It downloaded with a
pool game and now I want to delete it to free up room on
my hard drive. If this is not the place for this
question could someone give me some guidance where to
look or ask?
 
Is this program showing in your Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom under
Java?

Also check this.
Run msconfig from the start/run applet.
Under Start up is it possible to disable?
