Jammed Outbox in Outlook 2007

[HOA]

I attempted to send a 16mb email. It has been sitting in my outbox for 4
days now. I can't delete it, open it or send it. It is making it hard to
send other messages.

How do I dump this message? I don't need to send it now, just delete it.

Set outlook offline (File menu) and wait a few minutes - then delete.

Thanks. Taking it offline didn't work the first 4 times I tried it, then out
of the blue it worked!
