Have you gone into Device Manager and checked to see if it is listed and if any
problems are reported?
Also, have you gone into Playback Devices (right click on Notification Area
speaker icon). right clicked the window and selected show disabled devices and
show disconnected devices and selecting your devices and setting them up in
their properties?
