I've lost BOTH CD/DVD drives from my computer

It seems like Kelly's Korner had a fix for that but I can't find it.

Neither my F or G drives show up in my computer or anywhere else.

Well, they are yellow flagged in ctrl-panel, system, device hardware

Any help appreciated!!

Your first step is to ascertain if the drives show up in
the BIOS screen messages during the early boot phase.
