I cannot get iTunes 7.7 to work (nor Quicktime). When I open it a message
shows up that iTunes has stopped working with options to close the program or
check online for solutions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several
times...no luck. VERY frustrating! Also, strangely enough, when I try to
open the web page apple.com, Internet Explorer stops working. Coincidence?
Can anyone help me here?

Have you got 7.7.1.11 or just 7.7?

I'm having issues with Vista & iTunes as well. iTunes & Quicktime seem to
have downloaded fine but when I open iTunes it cannot connect to the iTunes
store. It says my internet connection has timed out. When I run the iTunes
diagnosic for connectivity, it verifies that I have an active internet
connection. In iTunes help, I CAN connect to the iTunes website.

I've spent several hours trying all the troubleshooting actions that iTunes
recommends, but to no avail. I just bought my first iPod, and this is my
first experience with iTunes. Vista wasn't an upgrade for me, it came with
my new Dell laptop.

Can anyone help?
