iTunes visualization

When using the visualization feature on iTunes, I like to
expand it to full screen. However every time I try there
is a big dialog box stating that my screen is optimized
for 1024x768 resolution. There is an option to not show
the dialog box again, but when I move the mouse, the
visualization stops and iTunes returns. I have set my
resolution in display settings so that 1024x768 is the
default, but I still get this message every time I go
into full screen mode. Please help!
