its amazing how rude you guys are...

i have been reading this newsgroup, and i am amazed at how rude
you guys are. i have seen you people give the rudest response,
like, why dont you try a win98 newsgroup, cuz this ones for xp, as
it says in the title. well, why not give him a link to the
newsgroup?

Why? Can you imagine the frustration of scanning posts looking for
someone you might be able to help and find someone is so rude and
thoughtless as to not even look to find a newsgroup that pertains to
his/her/its problem? Can you even imagine how it feels to answer the
same question over and over and over again because someone is so damn
rude as to come in here and ask a question without having the common
decency to read the archives first and find their question has been
answered dozens of times, often the same day it was posted?

Rudeness begets rudeness.
personally, i think Microsoft could organise their
groups a bit better. and another thing, i have seen like 4 posts
saying the exact same thing to the person. why not read all posts
before replying?

That's been answered by others. And speaking of rudeness, maybe you
should learn how newsgroups work before accusing others of not reading?
people are here to be helped, not be treated rudely. so why not be
nice and actually help them?

One more time: Rudeness begets rudeness <-he said rudely!>

But, and you fail to see it, there is a difference between
ignorance and rudeness.

I agree and I certainly do not fail to see the difference. Intentional
and deliberate ignorance IS rudeness.

Sir, with all due respect to you, this is the INTERNET. This is the Wild
Wild West!

Everyone can be a big tough ass kicking, person like George Bush on-line
without having to worry about someone showing up at their home in real
time wanting to make them an offer they can't refuse.

We can vent our frustrations on-line so that we don't blow up and harm
our friends and families in real time.

Even the highest class people can be whatever they want to be on-line.
It's an escape. So just deal with everything here and don't get to upset
about it.It's not just this forum, but all of cyberspace is this way
even the religious discussion groups. They are calling each other
everything you can imagine.

I would rather someone here call us a few nasty names than for them to
go blow up something, or someone someplace.

Capisce amigi miei? :)

You want rude? Get on a newsgoup for Linux...

I found the people on this newsgroup very very helpful and actually very
very freindly, obviously everybody is different and perhaps some have a more
abrupt manner than others but nobody is actually rude and everybody gives
their time which ultimately helps others. :)

So thankyou to all the nice people who post here...
