Items disappearing from task bar

Hello All

I am running WIn XP Pro with latest SPs and patches. Since
last week, when I open any program, they do not appear in
the task bar. I can only view or switch between programs
using Task manager or the good old Alt+ tab.

Nothing has happened that I can recall. I have tried
system restore, re-applying SPs but no joy. Everything
else works fine. Any ideas please? Something in the
registry perhaps?

Haven't installed "FriendlyGreeting Card" lately?? If so, uninstall...
