We need the entire error messages to offer much help.

If you want to switch to Windows Live Mail, you can download
and install it:

Since you are used to Outlook, you may have an option to install Outlook
on your Vista PC. Microsoft allows an Office product to be installed on
three different computers. You will need the CD for Outlook, and the
Outlook version should be 2003 or later.

By "windows live" do you mean the Windows Live Mail program?
If so, it takes the same server settings as Windows Mail.

There is a possibility that this account has become corrupted in
Windows Mail. Delete the account, restart Windows Mail, then
recreate the account.

sorry i am confused about what windows live means....i mean i have my own
small business website provided by microsoft office and with it i have 2
email addresses which end in @easynewandused.co.uk , but to get my emails i
have to sign into my site and get them thier....it says windows live mail
when i sign in.........i have just downloaded the other windows live thingy
me bob and thats just confused me even more....that gives the same error
message as windows mail.

ok i know i have confused everyone now....basicaly i have 4 email addresses
2 are supplied by virgin and end in @ntlworld.com and to are supplied by
windows. i want to have them all come to windows mail. i have been using
incredimail to receive my ntl mails with no probs but i don't like it so have
got rid of it. I can send from my ntl mails using windows mail but cannot
receive....as for my other 2 mail addresses i dont know how to add them
because i dont know the pop3 and smtp servers...... I hope this makes more
sense now. Sorry for confusing you lol.

Many thanks

Here's the ntlworld.com instructions:

<http://www.virginmedia.com/customers/pdf/130307_107907_Vista_BRLN_AW05.pdf>

I forget where you get the software to read .pdf files, but it doesn't come
with Vista.

Whats the error code your having with WMail?

G

Gary VanderMolen

I wasn't familiar with the features of Office Live, so I researched it
a bit. I believe you have the free version:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officelive/FX101534261033.aspx

Note that it says: "Access e-mail, contacts, and calendar from most
Web browsers." This leads me to believe that the free version of
Office Live email does not have POP access for your
@easynewandused.co.uk addresses.
