Hello
Regarding an XP Home box that was running fine till the HD failed - replaced
the HD, fresh install of XP Home SP2, updates, etc. Now the system shuts
down to a screen that says "It is now safe to shut off your computer" instead
of shutting off completely. This never was an issue before replacing the HD
and it seems fine otherwise. Intel first said to downgrade the BIOS to an
older version (did not help). Second call to them said it's an o/s issue and
call Microsoft. They said there is a setting in Windows for this issue but
would not tell me where it is. Anybody know where it might be?
Thanks
