IST Bar ???

I know how to shut IST Bar down in Explorer, click View/Toolbars and un
check it to hide it from view but how do I get rid of the objectional links?

You have spyware. Remove it with tools such as Spybot S&D from
www.security.kolla.de and/or Ad-aware from Lavasoft. Also be sure you
have a current antivirus and that the definitions are updated. The av
won't get rid of spyware, but you need to have one if you are running
Windows and are online.

yes, it seems I do have SpyWare, I got Spybot S&D and it helped to remove
some stuff I didn't know I had, but it still does not address my problem of
getting rid of the links on the IST Bar. How do I do that?

Thank you all. Your advice and that of others, lead me back to "Add/Remove
Software" in Control Panel where I was able to uninstall the "IST Bar". I
had no idea it was a program (duh, showing my ignorance again).

Now back to Spybot to figure what I do and don't want on my PC, jeeze does
it ever get any easier...... Sam
