Issues with Chkdsk

When my laptop boots it runs chkdsk, finds problems and
then ends stating I need to run chkdsk /f I have not been
able to run chkdsk /f or defrag my laptop.

able to run chkdsk /f or defrag my laptop.

Boot from the CD and get into the Recovery Console then issue
chkdsk x: /p
and maybe
chkdsk x: /r
after that.

Some data _may_ be lost.
