I have issas.exe system error during start up in my
windows XP home pc. It keeps cycling and won't complete
booting up showing "When trying to update the password
this return status indicates that the value provided as
the current password is not correct." Any help is highly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Ray

Hello Ray and greetings from England,

LSASS.EXE is a valid Windows file - ISASS is not. ou have a virus and/or
Trojan. Start XP in Safe Mode by tapping the Function 8 key just before
Windows loads. I Safe Mode, go Start>Run type del c:\isass.exe.

Restart in Normal Mode and see if that has helped. If not, restatr in Safe
again and go through Windows Expolrer to track down the offending file then
repeat the process above with the correct directory tree.
