iso recorder fails

the built-in iso recorder of thr XP suddely does not work anymore.I am using
this tool quite often for cd burning. When inserting a fresh writable cd the
drive of the cd burner does not open as container. Other burning sw ie HP
recordnow works correct.
Who knows about this problem ?

Hi Deiter,

a) There is no built-in .iso recorder in WinXP, you need an add-on for that
functionality.

b) If you have installed a third party burning program, use it to create the
disks as the native burner (the imapi burning service) will be disabled by
design to prevent conflicts.
