I got a file with .iso, my first thought was this is an image file I need to
burn using Nero as image. However, I can unzip using WinRAR.

It seems cannot tell what this file is by looking at the file extension.
Just wonder what would be burnt onto DVD if I use Nero to burn this using
'image' method?

Hi Alan,

You are correct, .iso is an image file. These type of image files often
contain many files such as an application or OS and are used to reduse file
corruption when downloaded.

In Nero, choose "Burn Image to Disk" to extract the files contained in the
image and burn them to disk.
