I agree with previous users for Daemon Tools.
* Older versions were tricky, newer have no problem. But , just in
case, make your precautions before its installation. BACKUP your
important data and if its not difficult take an image of your drive
(with Partition-Saving, or something similar).

* DONT install the bundled adware product (that comes along with
Daemon).

* Daemon's driver (SPTD.SYS) reported as rootkit by some rootkit
scanners. Just ignore it. Its a false alarm (because of the way, that
driver works).
If you go to Safe Mode, this driver will ask you (after loading the
basic Windows drivers) if you want to skip it.
If you don't want to work with Daemon, while you are in Safe Mode, just
hit Escape (the top right keyboard button, marked with the word "Esc").
