Hi ,

Having a problem with a laptop on Windows XP Professional
dropping its ISDN connection a couple of times a day. The
computer is on a network and is the only PC on that
network which experiences this problem. A reboot solves
this problem. Had thought it might be something to do
with power saver setting but that does not seem to be the
case. Any one with any ideas ?

Look in Event Viewer for clues. Look in Device Manager to be sure the
network device is not permitted to be turned off to save power (I know
you said you checked power saving, but I wasn't sure if you meant on
the device as well as from the Power applet). Check cables, cards,
connectors, etc., swapping out with known good ones. Do one thing at a
time so you have a clear troubleshooting path.
