Isass.exe - Password mismatch

I cannot access either Windows or the recovery console.
I get the message

At windows startup, I get the message . . .
"Isass.exe - When trying to update a password, this
return status indicates the value provided on the current
password is not correct"

At recovery console, I just get kicked out after 3 tries
to guess a password.

I got this message while trying to repair a crash by re-
copying registry files in recovery console. Let me know
if you need details.

I am a home user, with minimal (but some) skills. I have
never had a password.

You have malicious hyjact entry in your startup registry.
The only way I now to safely remove it is with
hyjackthis. Its free and You can downloaded
at<http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showtopic=227>
Run a scan. The entry in Hijackthis should look like
this...
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Services] Isass.exe Check the box and
run fix.
