Is "VERSIONS" still available in MS Word 2007?

I'm using the new 2007 MS Word and cannot find "VERSIONS" to save various
drafts of my document in the same file. In the old MS Word it was under
FILE-->VERSIONS (right under the Save or Save as features). Is it still
available in MS Word? (Oh, I'm hoping so, it was probably my favorite
feature.)

Thanks
K.

Sorry, no, the feature was removed. It had a bad reputation for
corrupting documents.

Hi Kago,

To add a bit to Jay's reply, the ability to manage versions for collaborartion of tracking was moved from MS Word to MS Office
Sharepoint for the 2007 products as part of its feature set.

There is a Version Extraction Tool (VET), mainly aimed at corporate admins for Office 2007 deployment that is available to do the
extraction on a more or less 'bulk' basis.

Microsoft has provided a tool for this. It's part of the Microsoft Office
Migration Planning Manager. See
