Is using an uninstaller software program ok on xp?

News

I have heard stories that registry cleaners can do damage to XP
installations.

What about using a software program called "Your Uninstaller" it watches how
something is installed so then when you click on it to uninstall something
it completely removes all the changes and registry files associated with
that software itself.

Should this be 100% ok to use without fear it can delete things it shouldn't
delete as per the situation with some of the reg cleaners?

Since some programs do not have a Uninstaller or the uninstall log file
is damaged or deleted I think a program that you
describe would be very helpful. The only registry cleaner I trust is
System Mechanic. I have been following their progress
over the many years and though in the beginning I wiped out a few Win98
OS's, Lol, they have really developed a solid and
well reviewed Product.

When it comes to computers, NOTHING is 100% safe. Your Uninstaller is an
excellent program, but it costs $20 and has a free 30 day trial period.
Registry Mechanic is probably one of the best Registry editors available
and it is free. You can download a free copy at: PCWorld.com/downloads/
