Is this a known virus .. a rectangle happy face

I'm wondering what has happened to one of my computers. I'm pretty
sure it was running today, and on line. But when I went to use it
after a few hours break all I see is a small rectangular ... what
looks like a happy face. Very small .. mabye 1/2 in high and 1/3 in
wide. Appears to have two dots where eyes would be and what looks like
it might be a mouth.

The cursor blinks just to the right of it on a black console. Located
about 1/3 of a screen in from left bottom.

Any attempt to boot starts a normal boot but soon after leaving the
bios this little face things appears. If you hit any key it jumps to
top and falls back into place.

Check the floppy drive to see if you have inadvertently

Egad... I don't believe I was that stupid... well at least my wife got
a good horse laugh at my expense.... probably did her some good...

Re the wife, just wait till she does something stupid and make sure to
return the horse-laugh favor with a couple of nyah-nyah's tossed it

I used to do something along that line but the public beatings got to
me after a few times....
