So i wanna upgrade my PC and move over to AMD and FX-55 + Gigabyte K8NXP-9
nForce 4 Ultra and a Thermalright XP-120 with a 120mm PanaFlo.

Right way to go?, will i be at the top of the food chain again??

No..it can not be used to mix 16 track music. or launch the shuttle.
or take a picture
or use video conferencing or...... BTW what do you use a computer for?

Hmmmmm.

So what you're saying is that you've got lots of cash that you're dying to
burn. When do you plan on lighting the match?

P.S. You might get 6-12 months before whatever you get is so-so.

pioneer dvr108 flashed with NIL's v1.14 firmware best going plus only 67
delivered...mind u i paid 74 argh

as the system...eh
if your buying the amd sys buy the FX57 or what ever they roolout the day
you buy it
some one has to keep amd in the profit while i build my cheap system that
will stand toe to toe with 500$ cpus in a 32-bit world

but the north is the least bad cpu in the intel flock.. now if you can find
one intel is pushing the prescott cause its F-up and they need to make
distributers take them..but most of america doesn't know and snatches them
up like mindless sheep
oh well nothing new there

now i would goto mobile XP as the software is rolled out in 64-bit

OR if you want to get ready for the 64-bit world
look at a socket939 MoBo with the 3100 sempron to keep the price in check

whilst it isn't the FX we all want its also only 122$ compared to 842$ for
the top FX
and reviews have shown it a nice overclocker getting 40% extra at the stock
voltage
not too shabby but i still like my socket Aa but soon i will build one for
myself
