Is there there a short cut for Strikethrough?

Does anyone know of a short cut key for Strikethrough. Seems there should be
an easier way than highlighting and going through the format menu.

There isn't a shortcut key by default, but you can create one.

Open the Tools > Customize dialog and click the Keyboard button. Select
Format in the Categories list and select Strikethrough in the Commands list.
Put the cursor in the "Press new shortcut key" box and press the combination
you want, then click the Assign button.

Close both dialogs, then hold the Shift key while you click the File menu,
and select Save All.
