Is there .NET 1.1 component for XPe?

Hi,

I have created an XPe image for testing on a thin client device. The image
works but my test application, written with VS.NET 2003, does not run
because it is compiled against the .NET 1.1 libraries. XPe only has the 1.0
libraries.

I downloaded .NET 1.1 from MS and attempted to install it on my test system.
The installation failed. THis may be because of something missing in the
XPe.

Before I spend a lot of time trying to track down a potentially missing
component to allow the installation to complete I thought I'd ask here.

Is there a .NET 1.1 Redistributable XPe component somewhere out there?

We hear your concerns. We are working on a component
for .NET FW 1.1 as we speak, and are aiming to have it
out by the end of summer.

To your issue, what exactly are you seeing in your
installation of the non-componentized FW when it fails?
The FW should work on an XPe runtime, though we haven't
tested it in our labs.
