Is There Any Way to Stretch a .JPG Picture on Backgroung Instead of Tiling it?

When I set a picture for a page background, FrontPage 2002 tiles multiple
copies of it across the page. What I really want is one copy stretched to
fill the page.

Is there any way I can make it stretch in FP 2002 instead of resizing it in
another application first?

Can you imagine what a 'stretched' photo would look like? You don't want
that to happen .
