Is there any way of viewing the formula of a locked cell?

As above does anyone know if it is possible to view a cells formula when the
cell is locked and sheet protected? Idea is to still see where the number is
linked to but not be able to make any changes?

To the left of the Formula Bar, you should see the "Name Box". Type the cell
name that you want to view the contents of in here. Then press Enter.

Your desired cell should now be selected, and the formula should be
displayed in the formula bar.
