Is there any way for me to look up a specific post by someone if i know the display name but not the

I would like to know. I just don't remember the keywords for the discussion, but want to look up the post.

Where are you searching?

In Outlook Express you can search in this manner (sender), as well as with
http://groups.google.com (author). If you have no clue where it is, google
is better, as it at least allows you to filter by groups as a group, like
microsoft.public.*.
