There's no real equivalent in PowerPoint.

In PowerPoint v.2007 it's possible to get a macro to run on open using xml
but you would have to know how to add xml to a pptm file and have control
over macro security settings.

File - save as .pps instead of .ppt ?

This makes it auto run when opened
