Is there an easy way to solve this?

Hi,

I've been using FP2K for three or four years now but have only just started
using the Publish function.

I did quite a lot of work on my site last night but did it live on the
server as opposed to doing it on my computer and then publishing it (does
that make sense?).

Anyway the result is that the site on my computer is now out of date with
the site on the server and I would like to know if there is a quick way to
download the updated site from the server to my computer - or will I have to
do all of the work again on my computer and then publish it to the server?

Thanks in advance.

With the live site open in FP, File Menu | Publish Web and enter/browser to
the location of your local copy.

You need to be aware of that !!

Best way, is to edit your site on your server, and computer at same time,
and just copy and paste - replacing older version. Try to keep all your
editing on your computer, and then publish every time.

The best way is to edit it once, and then File > Publish
to the other location to "synchronize" both webs.
