Is there a website for info on error codes?
i.e., 00800245
One would think Microsoft would have one since
they create most of the numbers.
What is your opinion of the best search engine for
looking up error codes, info on file extensions,
etc
when I'm troubleshooting something or just want
to know who and what a file is that appears on
my PC that I don't recognize.

00800245 isn't a proper error code, there is no X in it.

You can search for a proper one here, I.e. 0x00000001...
