Is there a way to verify user-specific settings while logged in as administrator

Ben

I am trying to find a way to verify the user-specific
(profile-specific) settings for various programs (such as
MS Word) while logged into a user's workstation as
administrator.

The users on the LAN prefer to have the network admin
setup application options that are profile-specific (such
as initials, Outlook Options, etc), but would prefer is
the admin didn't have all the individual passwords.

Does anybody know if this can be done?

Many Thanks,

Ben

Based upon your description, I suspect the profiles are local (not roaming).

You can do what you described by using the registry editor to load hive the uses
ntuser.dat and check the registry values.
