Is there a way to make a banner that is vertical instead of horiz.

I need to make a banner in Publisher that can be used in a window that is
about 1 foort wide by 5 feet long. As far as I could see on Publisher the
narrowest I could set the custom size is 3 feet wide. Also the text still
appeared to be for a horizontal banner even though I set if for portrait and
changed the custom size.

You have posted this message to the wrong news group.
The access in this newsgroup's title refers to Microsoft Access, a
database product.
I would suggest you post to the appropriate Publisher newsgroup.

Microsoft's Help system has landed you in the wrong newsgroup: this
one is for the database program Microsoft Access.

Please use the dropdown box (the one that says "Access" by default)
to select a more appropriate newsgroup, such as the Publisher group
microsoft.public.publisher.
