Is there a way to delete portions of an e-mail (post-sending)?

My job requires us to store e-mails that pertain to business, although we are
allowed to delete personal things from such e-mails. So my question is: in
Outlook, is there a way to delete portions of an e-mail that has already been
sent/delivered, for storage purposes?

Double-click the item to open in its own window. Use the Edit -> Edit
Message menu.

Of course, this will do nothing to alter the copy that was already
backed up from the Exchange server.
