Is there a way to delete and rebuild the calendar?

I am using Outlook 2003 with the latest fixes. When I try to export my
calendar, the process abends and restarts Outlook. Every week I get a
calendar notice that is 48 weeks old that I cannot delete. I can only dismiss
it. I think there is an error in the calendar and I want to either figure out
how to remove the bad record or just delete the calendar and rebuild it from
scratch.

Any advice?

Let me clarify the overdue notice. THe actual message reads: Activity - 49
weeks overdue. If I try to open the item so I can delete it, I get "You
cannot open the item for this reminder. You cnahged one of the recurrences
for this item and this instance no longer exists. Close any items and try
again"

Start Outlook one time with the /cleanreminders switch.
Start->Run->Outlook.exe /cleanreminders. Note the space after the .exe and
before the /.

That did not seem to do any good. I still have the reminder. If I was to
archive everything over 3 months old would it go away?

Display your calendar in a table view and go through each item until you
find the one with the corrupt reminder. Delete it and restart Outlook. It
should work fine.

How do I do that? I don't see a Table View as an option anywhere.

I think I figured it out and I deleted the entry. I will let you know
tomorrow if it really worked.

I received the error again but noticed it was a different date so I found it
and deleted it and one other that looked suspicious. I was able to
successfully export the calendar again. Thanks a lot!!
