Can't link to any of the Google websites today.

I can get onto PCR by clicking it on my Favourites list but nothing else on the list will connect. I note that there has been a problem with the stats today - or is that just a coincidence?

I think the stats problem is just a co-incidence that it happened to be down at the time. Google works ok for me here though - which ISP are you using?

If you suspect a website is down there's a great free tool that can check: http://www.alertra.com (just type the URL in the box at the top right).

If you're familiar with the command prompt you can also try:

"tracert google.co.uk" to see where the problem is along the connection :)

Thanks for the reply Ian. When I click on your links I also get Cannot Connect to the Internet.

How is it that I can connect to PCR but nothing else? Everything was fine last night.

Did eventually get to alertra and it tells me that the UK Google site is OK.

Any other ideas that I can try?

It could just be your router playing up - I'd restart your PC and router and see if that sorts it :)

Magic :D

Ok, maybe not ;) I've had similar problems with my old router - it would refuse to browse to any other new sites, apart from ones that were open at the time the problem occured. No idea why, even to this day!
